Pocklington League Wakefield 17 April 2016

Some very good swims at Wakefield marred by 3 DQ's its better to be 2/10ths slower off the blocks and get the points than getting zero points. Having said that we competed very well and at half way were very close to Adwick. It was good tom see Alex Pollard back in the water after a long layoff and opening his account up with 57.11 for 100 Free after only half a dozen training sessions.  Lucy Clarke, Ajay Scott, and Casey Waugh came away with 4 PB's and Joseph Greenhalgh, Eleanor Lakin and Nicole Stilborn 3 PB's that's impressive swimming well done guys. For me the swim of the day was Nicholas Honeybone's 25 mtr Free at 16.59 which was a 1.59 PB and he is still only 8 years old!! We finished the gala a comfortable second which is were we will most likely be in the league at the end of the year.
Results are attached and the final scores were:
Adwick   147    Armthorpe   133    Wakefield   108    Dearne Valley   89
