Armthorpe Swimmer Gets Commonwealth Silver

Jarvis Parkinson, who began his swimming career as an 8 year old at Armthorpe, has claimed his first medal of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games on his debut, as he helped Team England to silver in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay.
Jarvis swam an excellent third leg setting up for James Guy to bring the quartet home in second place behind hosts Australia. The team also featured David Cumberlidge & Ben Proud.
